Five Cups, Five Adventures

V4.5-ALL

[Intro Spoken] Five cups. Five ways not to wake. Coffee isn't the solution. Coffee is the problem. [Spoken] First cup. [Verse 1] I downed an espresso, what a rush! A live wire straight to my brain—too much! Didn't wake me up, just panic instead. Electric survival, pounding in my head. [Spoken] Second cup. [Verse 2] My mind's a printer stuck on repeat. Printing awake without pause or retreat. I keep hitting the button, the paper gets stuck. And I'm still half-asleep, face down in the crud. [Spoken] Third cup. [Verse 3] My neurons are spinning—a washing machine! Twelve hundred RPMs, no center, just spin. They twist and they turn, they can't find the north. And I'm here still dancing—what else? Of course! [Spoken] Fourth cup. [Verse 4] My system's a blue screen, frozen in place. Updating at 3 AM, no light on my face. My body says stop, I can't take no more. But coffee force-reboots me—and back to the floor! [Spoken] Fifth cup. [Verse 5] And to top it all off, like a cherry on cake— A jackhammer pounds at an industrial rate! It beats on my brain with theatrical glee. My nervous system's show—lucky me! [Verse 6] With five cups inside, my head's an office space. The printer keeps printing, the washer keeps pace. The system puts me on hold with elevator tunes. And the live wire keeps buzzing—for no reason too soon. [Verse 7] The jackhammer from cup five changed its career. Now it knits me scarves and combs my hair with cheer. I don't know if I'm me or a latte with feet. Plug me to the wall—I'll light up the whole street! [Chorus] Five cups, five adventures to tell. My brain won't start—not even with a spell. Five cups, five crazy affairs. Today I wake up—and I don't even care! [Bridge Spoken] My grandmother always said: Bit, coffee isn't magic. It's caffeine. Grandma, I'd say, and caffeine isn't magic? It has side effects, she'd say. Like not sleeping? I'd ask. Like not sleeping, she'd say. So it works, I'd say. [Punch Line 1 Spoken] The coffee is gone. My brain still doesn't know who it is. A latte with feet. That's what I am. [Punch Line 2 Spoken] So listen to me, my little coffee machine. Tomorrow I'm coming back, but with a new routine. I swear with a sixth cup, my brain will do the trick— It'll move out of my head and change the locks on my head! [Outro Spoken] And tomorrow... I'll have seven cups.
