God Doesn't Waste Scenes

V6

GOD DOESN’T WASTE SCENES [INTRO — SPOKEN, LOW / CINEMATIC] Sometimes you look back at your life and wonder why certain chapters had to happen. The mistakes. The losses. The people you lost. The doors that never opened. But maybe… God doesn’t waste scenes. Maybe I just wasn’t at the part where they made sense yet. [VERSE 1] I remember younger me, dreams bigger than the room, Thinking I’d be famous, thought it had to happen soon, Wanted lights, wanted stages, wanted everybody’s praise, Didn’t understand the journey had a thousand different ways. School wasn’t always easy, but I found my lane in running, Friends saw something in me, told me, “Man, you gotta keep coming,” Life took me different places, different people, different roads, Some chapters felt like punishment, I didn’t know they built my soul. I made mistakes I wish I could erase from every page, Lost some time, lost some money, had to wrestle with my ways, But the scars became the sentences, the pain became the prose, Now I look back at the wreckage like, “That’s where something grew.” I thought God forgot me when the doors refused to move, Whole time He was teaching me what pressure makes you do, I wanted Him to change the world, He started changing me, Funny how the hardest scenes became the ones I needed to see. [HOOK] God don’t waste scenes, Even when the picture ain’t clear, Even when you lose something you thought you’d need for years. Every tear, every fall, Every road that made me bleed, I thought it was a wasted chapter— God was planting something deep. God don’t waste scenes, Nothing disappears in the story, Every loss, every lesson can still become something glorious. I may not understand it now, But eventually I’ll see— The scene I wanted cut was the scene that built me. [VERSE 2] I moved away from old environments trying to find myself, Searching for some answers I couldn’t find on nobody’s shelf, Looking at my past like, “How’d I end up here?” Then I realized sometimes confusion is what makes the vision clear. I wanted to be a rapper, actor, athlete at the top, Producer with the greatest records, never wanting it to stop, Had a picture in my mind of everything I thought I’d be, God had another picture waiting somewhere underneath. I chased things that couldn’t love me back, Mistook attention for respect, Tried to fill some empty spaces with things that left me more wrecked. But every wrong turn taught me something right, Every dark room made me appreciate the light, Now I’m making music with a purpose in the booth, Trying to turn experience into something that can speak truth. So if you see SILL-E now, don’t just hear the finished product, Hear the years behind the voice, every struggle that constructed, This ain’t overnight, this is years becoming art, God was writing with the pieces when I thought I fell apart. [VERSE 3 — HARDER / MORE LYRICAL] Now I’m looking at my life like a film with missing footage, Every frame I thought was useless somehow turned into a blueprint, Pain became perspective, failure sharpened up the vision, Closed doors taught me patience, rejection made decisions. I don’t glorify the struggle, I just recognize the purpose, Some lessons came expensive, but the knowledge made ’em worth it, Had to lose a couple things just to figure what was priceless, Had to walk through some darkness just to understand what light is. I used to ask, “Why me?” Now I ask, “What did it teach me?” Used to curse the detour, now I’m grateful that it reached me. Because the man I am today needed every contradiction, Every weakness, every setback, every uncomfortable position. And if God can take the broken and still make the pieces fit, Then maybe every bad chapter wasn’t bad—it was just unfinished. So I ain’t scared of what’s next, I ain’t worried about the ending, If the Author’s still writing, then I’m still becoming. Tell the younger SILL-E, “Don’t throw away those scenes.” One day you’ll look back and realize— **God doesn’t waste anything. [OUTRO — SPOKEN] I thought some moments were mistakes. Some were. I thought some chapters were wasted. They weren’t. I thought some doors closing meant the story was over. It wasn’t. Maybe God wasn’t wasting my time. Maybe He was preparing my testimony. And maybe… the scenes that hurt the most will be the ones somebody else needs to hear. God doesn’t waste scenes. Not one.
