How have you been lately? Feels like it's been a while Things got crazy out of nowhere Guess that's life sometimes Something always seems to happen Even when it's not about me Somehow I get caught up in it Before I even know what's going on Sometimes I think Maybe life was better a year ago But there's no point looking back So I just let it go For now I'm taking One thing at a time Trying to get through Whatever comes my way **Maybe soon** **Things will quiet down** I don't know when But I hope they will somehow I wanted to go somewhere But never got away And while I kept on saying "someday" Summer started slipping away The evening air Feels different now And somehow the seasons Keep moving on without us How have you been lately? How are things with you?
