Stomping On The Serpent by Joshua Mossman

Verse 1 Enemy thought he had me trapped inside the dark, 'Til the Almighty breathed and ignited the spark! Now I’m stomping on the serpent with the Word on my feet, Bringing heavy-hitting truth straight back to the street! They labeled me lost, called my faith just a phase, Now I’m solid on the Rock, giving Jesus the praise. Got no fear in my chest, got the armor put on— Shadows gotta scatter 'cause the dawn has begun! He reached in the pit, pulled me out of the trip, Now the 808 is knocking and the Spirit is lit! Chorus (Big beat drop, heavy 808s, layered hype ad-libs) Stomping on the serpent! (We stomping!) Walking in the light! (In the light!) Saved by the Spirit, now we winning in the fight! Stomping on the serpent! (Let's go!) Standing on the Rock! (On the Rock!) Gospel in the street and we never gonna stop! Verse 2 From the shadow of death to the light of the Son, The battle ain't coming—look, the victory is won! No chains on my hands, no weight on my mind, Left the graveyard behind, left the darkness behind. Shield of faith raised high, sword of truth in my grip, Grace in every step, heavy praise on my lip! Took me out the mud, put my feet on the ledge, Living on the Word, cutting sharp as an edge! Bridge The tomb is empty, the price is paid, We stand on the promises Jesus made. No weapon formed is gonna make me yield, We step on the block, yeah, we take the field!
