[Verse] From Mars I did depart Searching the cosmos for a brand new start My mission true to find the best place To cultivate the sacred herb with grace [Prechorus] Through nebulas and asteroid fields I roam Seeking a planet to call my own But little did I know the truth so profound The greatest ganja patch would soon be found [Chorus] Rastaweed Rastaweed Earth the promised land indeed From Mars to Saturn the search was long Earth the place where I belong [Verse 2] I bounced on Saturn saw ice rings there A barren landscape filled with frozen air No sign of life no sign of green My intergalactic quest still unseen [Chorus] Rastaweed Rastaweed Earth the promised land indeed From Mars to Saturn the search was long Earth the place where I belong [Bridge] The journey weary my heart did sink Then Earth appeared a verdant blink The soil the sun the perfect blend A Rasta's dream without end
