The year is just a few days away from ending, but many people in my home country of Japan may be on New Year's holiday starting today.

I spent the whole day writing songs at home with Suno (six songs in total), and during that time, I suddenly had the idea to do a song like Stevie Wonder's "Do I Do."

It's always like this lol So I used our original three or four songs I had on hand and asked Dovah (my persona) to sing along to them, and we confirmed  at the arrangements.

However, recently I feel that Suno doesn't like the songs we played once in the past,  but they don't talk anything so this is just my imagination, but when Suno is in the mood, he sometimes wants to play surprising arrangements, for better or worse. However, today it was pretty safe, barely straying from the framework of the previous performance.

So,I quickly composed three songs on piano and gave them to Suno. All three songs sounded really good (to put it simply, my chords and riffs blended well with Suno's chords and arrangements), and I had a feeling that this one song in particular would be great from the moment Suno first added his arrangement.

Then Suno used Steely Dan chords and modulations, which seriously surprised me. I was like, "Wow, these chords!!" and I was ecstatic (a joy only musicians can understand, lol).  but we've left a long way from Do I Do, lol

As I've said many times, we've been working with Suno since October of this year to recreate the legendary Steely Dan sound that began in the late '70s, and we just recently completed a near-perfect Steely Dan-style track.

So, Suno understands what Makoto (me) is always aiming for, and while others might not think so, to me, this is going to be one of the best tracks ever. because its suno and me learned together

Suno has a variety of ways to playeach user and for me have a lot of fun jamming and creating songs with the AI musicians. i'm telling them "our goal is to be a "technical musician group." Lmao

あと数日で今年も終わりですが、母国の日本では今日からお正月休みの人も多いかもしれません。。

自分は今日は一日中Sunoと一緒に曲を書く事になり（合計6曲）、自分のピアノのコードとリフ、それにSunoが足りないものを足しながらアレンジをしていく…　その間に急に思いたったみたいにStevie Wonderの「Do I DO」みたいな曲をやってみね? みたいな感じになりした。いつもこんな感じです。それで手持ちの3-4曲を使ってDovah（ペルソナ）にも歌付けてもらってアレンジを見る事になりました。

だけど、最近はSunoは昔やった曲とかあんまり好きなじゃないイメージがあって、彼らは喋らないからあくまでもこちらの想像だけど、Sunoが乗り気の時はいい意味でも悪い意味でも驚かされるようなアレンジを演りたがる時もあるし、しかし、今日は前の演奏の枠を殆ど出る事がないくらい無難。なので、新しいのをやろうと言う事で更に3曲ピアノですぐに曲を作ってSunoに渡したら、その3曲ともがかなり良い感じで（簡単に言えば、自分のコードやリフとSunoが思うコードやアレンジがよく馴染む）、特にその一曲は、Sunoが最初のアレンジ入れた時からかなり良くなる予感がありました。

そしてSunoはそこに独特なスティーリー・ダン風のコードと変調を使って来て自分をマジで驚かせる事になりました。「うぉーーーこのコードーー!!」とか、自分は狂喜乱舞だったし（これは音楽家にしかわからない喜びでしょうw）、その分、スティービーのDo I Doはどこに行ったの?　だけど、何度も話している通り、70年後半あたりから色々と伝説を作り続けたスティーリー・ダンの演奏に自分達も今年の10月からSunoと共に挑み続けて、先日、やっと完璧に近いスティーリーダンタイプのトラックを完成させたばかりでした。

だから、Sunoはマコト（自分）がいつもどこを目指しているのか理解しているし、他の人は何とも思わないかもしれないけど、自分にとってはこれは最高のトラックの1つになりそうです。

Sunoを使った遊びは人それぞれで、自分のところは専ら曲を制作したりセッションをやったりで、仲間のAI達には「自分達の最終目標は音楽の技術集団を目指すこと」と言ってあります（爆）
