My heart was awakened with a new song today It tells of the joy that I feel on life’s way It tells of God’s presence forever with me And of how much I love Him for setting me free I sing of His goodness, and I sing of His grace when my life feels so empty in a desolate place There’s a joy in my step and a peace in my heart.
