Chapter 8: Vision of the End

On Patmos, in a vision bright, John saw the end, a holy sight, A scroll with seals, a lamb so pure, Revealed the fate that we endure. Four horsemen ride, with fury's breath, Bringing conquest, war, famine, death, The stars will fall, the moon blood-red, Yet hope remains, as tears are shed. Behold, a new Jerusalem, descending from on high, A city where the streets are gold, no more will we cry. The Alpha and Omega reigns, the First and Last, the King, In His light, we find our rest, and all the heavens sing. The beast and false prophet's rise, Deceiving with their twisted lies, But Michael’s sword will strike them down, And cast them to the fiery crown. The great white throne, the final call, The books are opened, one and all, For those in Christ, a life anew, In robes of white, the faithful few. Behold, a new Jerusalem, descending from on high, A city where the streets are gold, no more will we cry. The Alpha and Omega reigns, the First and Last, the King, In His light, we find our rest, and all the heavens sing. “I am the Light, the Morning Star, The root of David, near and far, Behold, I come, my reward is near, To wipe away your every tear.” Behold, a new Jerusalem, descending from on high, A city where the streets are gold, no more will we cry. The Alpha and Omega reigns, the First and Last, the King, In His light, we find our rest, and all the heavens sing. In every heart, the promise true, A world remade, a life anew, In His embrace, forevermore, With Christ, our Savior, we’ll soar.
