There’s a shimmer in her eyes like a spark gone wild She was born of smoke, the devil’s child Every move is a match in a room of dreams Setting fire to the in-betweens She spins, curtains catch and the walls ignite The crowd can’t breathe but they love the sight She’s smiling sweet in the burning glow And no one dares to tell her no She’s a pyromaniac, dancing in the flame Laughing as the fire calls her name She’s a beautiful disaster, nobody can look away She burns the world and they all say Let her stay Ash falls down like confetti rain Every heartbeat fans the flame She twirls in smoke, her halo red Hearts combust where her feet have tread Sirens cry but the band plays on Her shadow waltzes with the dawn She grins as sparks kiss the floor And everyone just begs for more She’s a pyromaniac, dancing in the flame Laughing as the fire calls her name She’s a beautiful disaster, nobody can look away She burns the world and they all say Let her stay And when the night is cinders, when the dream’s undone She’ll rise from the smoke, still wanting more sun You’d think she’d stop, but you don’t know She’s the spark and this is her show She’s a pyromaniac, dancing in the flame Laughing as the fire calls her name She’s the curse you’d die to see again Lighting up your heart and your skin She’s a pyromaniac And you’ll never be the same
