Well here I am, I’m up to face the morning Another day is here awaiting me Still pondering which path will be my future On this rocky road until eternity Inside my mind I’m listing why to stay here While my heart inside as strongly disagrees I can keep clinging to the past and still remain here Or sell it all and move to Tennessee You see, everybody has advice and stories As varied and unique as people are Stay or go has been a timeless question But only the Lord is our Guiding Star The chaos of this life can be unceasing And we can let our ears fill with its cries But God’s a God of calm and peace and order And nothing happens to Him by surprise When you’ve cried and prayed and read all of your Bible But one path has not come clearly into view Perhaps the best decision is to step back Be still to hear what He is telling you
