mind siphon (elucid33 Remix Response)
He never touched a wire, sure but did he really rewrite souls? I’m not convinced one man’s syllables could plant viruses that deep. No circuits blinked, he says, just vowels slipping in like dreams when one sleeps Yet people have always changed their minds. Was it really him, or were they already cracking in and reshaping one’s design He studied every fracture, slipped inside their thoughts or maybe they were lonely, desperate, and he just showed up at the right time with the right words And they got caught From a whisper here A planted doubt there, yes yes I’ve heard that one before. Does every clever question turn into mind control, or do some people just like feeling understood? What’s all that for? To think they have control To know they still rule their soul Unaware they’ve totally lost control They got no grip as they start to slowly roll He fed them “truths” laced with hidden knives convinced them his leash was freedom. Funny how the ones who say they’re “cultivating” always end up on top. It’s wrong Have you Ever noticed that? He mapped their fears with tender art, pressed the softest codes Or maybe he just mirrored what they already felt and called it genius. Did u ever think it coulda been that? He became every savior their trauma ever wanted until the spell broke and they saw the man behind the mirror and then they stayed forever haunted He called it evolution of the mind, left hollow shells behind. Convenient story. How many “hollow shells” would say the same about him if they spoke freely? Could u tell or would they be able to tell Each conquered will a rung beneath his feet or maybe just people who eventually walked away when they got tired of his games, to conquer through their own defeat He harvested confidence, siphoned essence, rewired loyalties Sounds dramatic Or maybe he was just really good at making people feel special until they weren’t useful anymore And then through them away Leaving them with a ghost of him and a shitload of insecurities They thought the thoughts were native foreign roots in their psyche grown. Or perhaps they were always capable of doubt, and he simply gave them permission to ignore their own instincts for a while. And this is to them all he had shown He pruned resistance with flattery, spoke of self improvement while stealing light. Classic move. The oldest con in the book dressed up in modern spiritual language, mentioning the light No blood spilled, no visible scars yet funerals inside the people they were. If that’s true, then why do so many eventually leave and rebuild? To try and be wat they want and fight n not deter Maybe the “hacker” isn’t as powerful as the poem wants us to believe. And when they finally noticed their thoughts were rearranged he’d already moved on, improved, strangely changed. Of course he did. That’s what predators do when the host starts waking up. A man who hacked with metaphors and parasitic art, he can’t be exposed or sold out he just can’t, as then his whole life would be fucked up or he just another smooth-talking opportunist we’re giving way too much mythic credit. Building towers out of ruins where he once unstitched a heart. A as nd thought he could do easily neglect it Hmm Maybe. Or maybe the ruins were already there, and he just moved in and redecorated. I’m not saying he had no power. Words do shape minds. But turning every influence into an epic psychological heist? Now fhee are ts something unheard and unseen of in all history’s times Although the sounds like the legend he’d want us to believe. The real question is why does this story make him sound almost admirable instead of just sad and empty overall small?
