"Boom, boom… You light up my sky with your beautiful colors… Just remember… you are my firework." I’ve walked alone down endless streets, Where silence pressed and darkness met. A crushing weight, a hollow ache, I felt the ground beneath me shake. I almost gave the fight away, I nearly let the shadows stay. Then through the grey, a spark I saw— Your colors broke the dark I saw. You’re my firework! Scream into the night with flare! Boom, boom— You light my sky with colors rare! You paint the dusk, you streak the dawn, Boom, boom— The joy you bring is never gone. Just remember—you’re my firework. You poured new meaning in my life, You showed me shades I’d never known. You turned my grey to gold and light, A smile where I’d been cold as stone. So stay right here, don’t fade away, Show me your colors, light my way. You’re my firework! Scream into the night with flare! Boom, boom— You light my sky with colors rare! You paint the dusk, you streak the dawn, Boom, boom— The joy you bring is never gone. Just remember—you’re my firework. It’s almost unfair, the light you hold, A comfort giver, brave and bold. So perfectly you chase the grey, Your colors never fade away. How can someone shine so true? But I don’t mind… because of you. You’re my firework! Scream into the night with flare! Boom, boom— You light my sky with colors rare! You paint the dusk, you streak the dawn, Boom, boom— The joy you bring is never gone. Just remember—you’re my firework. I found you in your room last night, Quiet sobs, you hid your face from light. It shattered me to see you break, A sight I never thought you’d make. I ran to you, I held you tight, I showed my colors in the night. The same you gave, I gave them back… I’m your firework. I’m your firework… Scream into the night with flare… Boom, boom… I’ll light your sky, my colors there… I’ll sparkle in your darkest blue… Boom, boom… Return the joy I took from you… Just remember… We are each other’s firework… Boom… Boom… We’re a firework.
