[Verse One - Arrival and suprise massacre]
A Flash pierced the skies, origin unknown our logic denies, infinite cosmos thrive in it's eyes.
Started with one then thier numbers grew to a few now vastly multiplied.
These things looked the same at first but rapidly burst into various forms then suddenly dispersed.
Everywhere you gaze they hung like gravity reversed now awe fades and their arrival came with a thirst...I fear this may be a viral curse.
Hysteria grew quick, hard to track, others became violent and began to attack.
Then some grew stacked like armor impossible to crack, there are too many to hold back.
Deoxys they call eachother, all connected, another brother, the viral strain we were forced to discover.
People and Pokémon falling one after the other with psychic brutality we scramble for cover as our existence they begin to smother.

[Chorus - futility begins to become apparent]
They came for the kill, they won't stay still, a virus we have no cure, no salvation from a pill...
As we fall we lose more will, maddening cries of pure Deoxys thrill agonizingly shrill.
Hundreds turn to thousands and thousands grew to more at will, the sky cracked then tore.
All hope is lost...not even memories of hope anymore...watching everyone I know hit the floor, piles of gore in endless hordes, a welcoming ceramony of our viral interstellar overlords.

[Break - mournful dying whispers]
...We all fall ill as Deoxys kill...
...swift or slow...they rush to make the kill count grow... if terror don't take you first...countless ravenous Deoxys will...

[Break Continued - panicked news ancor television broadcast]
*...this is a disaster...they are hostile...find shelter...find somewhere to hide...OH MY GOD......AHHHHHHHHHH.......(white noise static)*

[Verse Two - Last of the living waiting for death]
Doom came in the wake as Deoxys zoom through the gloom.
Killing for the thrill of it, I assume, no bodies were consumed. 
Meticulously in their routine almost like a murder machine.
Cold, calculated, quick, and impressively clean.
What the hell am I even saying? Admiring these fucking assholes for the productive ways they use while systematically slaying? 
My mind must be degrading, fading, lost in the dark tunnels I crawled in while I was evading.
How long have I been down here, my concept of time has become unclear.
Hours...days...I wandered so deep I can only navigate by ear but there nothing near to even hear...
I wonder if everyone is dead...fuck I miss my bed...wish I could just clear my head.
And then like a beacon of  hope revived my sight, a small sliver of evening light.
It was a manhole cover I had to push with all my might it was held down by mangled bodies...damn the light was bright 
As I peaked through the gap cautious it could be a trap.
I saw no Deoxys, heard no screams, no pop as bones snap, no thunder clap.
But the silence was deafening for there were no people or Pokémon to be seen.
Well none left living is what I mean....
Anyone there...anyone...hello...I can't be the only living thing.
With all the horrors the Deoxys committed the silence now was kinda nice I admitted.
But the ruined scenes of death and destruction robbed me of any peace the quiet permitted. 
In a passing cloud of dust and smoke I choke...then saw it was just a cloak.
Ghosts, poison, and dark types in high supply now the natural order has broke.

All lays in waste...Deoxys erased...
But the world they left is the world nightmares embraced...
...now it’s just me...and the types I fear...
...I wish I could get away from here...I think the end is near...
