Garbage Can Set on Fire Cameras? email to management July seventeenth twenty twenty two forty two A M Hi, As I've said, there's been a lot of odd screaming and yelling on this street for the past month. A lady who I can now recognize by the sound of her voice was going off saying stuff like "bitch", "you belong on skid row", "get out", "I'm going to kick your ass" and things similar. She's currently in the alcove of the mission across the street as I write this. I have reason to believe she is not mentally ill or suffering from something, as I would normally be lead to believe, and she actually works for the mission or is connected to them somehow. This is important because someone set the garbage can on fire (that had a fish on it) and she would have definitely seen who did it. I looked out the window because I saw flashing lights, thinking the police had come to talk to her. Instead I heard an exchange between the unseen officer in the car and a girl on a skateboard that went along the lines of "I don't care" and the officer drove away with the garbage can in flames. I called 911 and they said they had a fire truck on the way. The fire truck came and put it out. Neither the cops nor the fire asked this lady who did it and after listening to her go off for however long before, I'm sure she saw who it was. I'm deeply disturbed by the idea (I could be wrong) that the police officer actually set the fire. The only other people I saw by that trash can tonight was a republic garbage truck, and I had to call their office on the 14th because they've had truck after truck coming down this street at all hours and there are three cans right underneath my windows for some reason - I think it's so they can bang them when they do pick up and people passing by hit them as well. Last night they had four different trucks come down our street - a blue and white for the mission side, and two white trucks at the same time when they emptied the cans under my window. I feel my agitation is well within reason and this is just - this shouldn't be happening. There must be some camera or someone who saw who set the trash can on fire. It feels dangerously important to know whether it was indeed the police officer or not, and why they didn't stay until the fire truck arrived or ask the lady outside in the alcove who set the fire. Can we do something about the cans under my window? Thank you for caring.
