Last night The moon broke through the clouds Only half was showing Her face was covered with a shroud Her lower half was glowing Above her head the clouds were dark And moving past in anger The moon reached through and pushed them past And tore apart their slander The clouds gathered in again And tried to block her right But the moon burst through to dissipate the clouds and shine her glowing light The clouds ran off to storm and rain and hide on the horizon While the moon in all her glory did shine like a bright clear diamond Bring forth the moon into your heart Push dark clouds far away Let the shining light dispel the night and help you find your way Now the moon shines her light Through the darkness And sunrise is on its way Time to rise and greet the brand new day And all is well And all is well Bring forth the moon into your heart Push dark clouds far away Let the shining light dispel the night and help you find your way Bring forth the moon into your heart Bring forth the moon into your heart Bring forth the moon into your heart
