It's getting late in the day, finally getting rolling Now we're covering ground, the grain is pouring in When the buzzer goes off, the augur swings out I'll have to stop soon it seems, I'm all alone in the field Where did that grain truck go? I'm sure it was here just a moment ago I flash my lights, let out a deep sigh Oh where did that grain truck go? They finally appear, but they take the wrong path They're looping around, seems I'll be stopped for awhile What were they doing, I guess we'll never know They better pick up the pace or we'll still be here when it's cold Where did that grain truck go? I'm sure it was here just a moment ago I flash my lights, let out a deep sigh Oh where did that grain truck go? I hear you can pick up on the go, sounds like a myth I consider it lucky, if I don't have to wait and sit I see them coming, the box is still up in the air The rate we're going, I better offer up some more prayer Where did that grain truck go? I'm sure it was here just a moment ago I flash my lights, let out a deep sigh Oh where did that grain truck go? It's only a ten mile round trip I can't imagine what's taking so long Put your foot to the floor, remember to shut the end gate door At least this time you have brakes.... Where did that grain truck go? I'm sure it was here just a moment ago I flash my lights, let out a deep sigh If it doesn't show soon, I might just cry! Where did that grain truck go? I'm sure it was here just a moment ago I flash my lights, let out a deep sigh Oh where did that grain truck go? Oh where? Oh where? Did that grain truck go?
