The Tangle of The Super Drunk Wardens
[Chorus] Yo-ho! The seas did sway, And so did we, completely drunk on rum! We drank so much the anchor swam across the sea, And waved at us politely with a smile! Grab the ropes, you tangled drunks, Your fishing lines are knots made of chaos! We aimed for monster size fish—got junk instead, And shame that still betrays us! [Instrumental Break — Long] [Verse 1] We swaggered down the wobbly pier, All tipsy, bent, and leaning, Loke lost his boot again— Don’t ask, it has no meaning, and he can't find it. The captain yelled, “Ye useless lot!, How much rum ya drink?” Then tripped after taking another sip of rum and kissed a crate, We hadn’t even left the dock— A beautiful drunken fate. [Chorus] Yo-ho! The seas did sway… [Instrumental Break — Long] [Verse 2] Dragon cast with drunken flair, A hero in his brain, He hooked the cook’s last piece of pie— A culinary pain. The cook declared he’d end his life With spoons and boiling stew, Thus ended, in spectacular style, Our first cast round of doom. [Chorus] Yo-ho! The storm did roar… [Instrumental Break — Longer & Dumber] [Verse 3] At dawn the sun attacked our skulls, The mean traitors in the sky, Tera tried to punch the sun— She missed it by a mile. We reeled our lines with trembling hands, Afraid of what we’d see— A soggy notecard, a small crab that hissed, a prim cube, a ink pen. [Chorus] Yo-ho! The gulls did laugh… [Instrumental Break — Long] [Verse 4] A seagull just stole our juicy live bait And mocked us with a screech, Liberty yelled, “CURSE YE BIRD!” And cast straight off the beach. She caught the bird completely blind, A miracle or sin, The gull stole half his dignity And half of her rum as well. [Chorus] Yo-ho! The waves did churn… [Instrumental Break — Very Long] [Verse 5] Kara hooked her own left boot with a lure, A legendary feat, She screamed so loud the fish swam off To safer, sober seas. We tried to help her but tripped ourselves, Our talent truly cursed by drinking too much rum, We tied nine knots and made it worse— She invented brand-new words. [Bridge] Ohhh the sea may churn And the bow may turn, But a drunk angler learns no lesson. If you cast too fast, Or you fall too fast, Your leg becomes your weapon. [Instrumental Break — Long & Dramatic] [Verse 6] We hauled a treasure from the deep, A masterpiece of trash we pulled, A old cracked safe, a molecola can, A left rubber boot with ocean rash. A mermaids hairdryer, a pirate’s wig, A whopper fish that looked confused, And Tera found the pants she lost The day she got too boozed. [Chorus] Yo-ho! We sail once more… [Instrumental Break — Finale Length] [Final Verse] The sun sank low, our rum was almost gone, Our rods bent way.. out of shape, But though we failed hardcore at fishing hard, We thrived at being a clownfish. For friendship lives in chaos seas, In storms, in gulls, in rum— We never caught a single fish… Just junk... But damn we caught some fun. [Final Chorus — Big, Ridiculous Ending] Yo-ho! We sail again, Though sober? Absolutely never! We’ll cast our lines with drunken pride, And miss those fish forever! Raise your cups, you noble sots, Let thundered laughter shake us! For though we fish like brain-dead fools— No storm can ever break us!
