[Verse 1] Green round giant with dark green lines Sitting in the shade by the salty beach Everybody thinks they know what’s inside Just a typical red, just out of reach [Pre-Chorus] Blindfold on, taking a step to the right Laughter echoes under the summer sky One big strike and the wooden stick falls A sudden flash before our eyes [Chorus] Nobody knew, a Cream Watermelon Shining so bright like a yellow sun Melts in my mouth with a breezy taste An unexpected summer has just begun [Verse 2] Red and yellow slices on a party plate Looks so stylish, color of our day Giggling ’bout the seeds and old myth tales While the ocean wind blows it all away [Pre-Chorus] You can’t judge a fruit by the outer skin Just like the feelings hidden in your heart Took a chance today, stepped into the light Now a brand new story’s about to start [Chorus] Nobody knew, a Cream Watermelon Shining so bright like a yellow sun Melts in my mouth with a breezy taste An unexpected summer has just begun [Bridge] Forget the old rules, forget the fear Just hold this moment, heavy and dear A secret sweet flavor, so cool and true Glad I took a bite, glad I found you [Final Chorus] Nobody knew, a Cream Watermelon Shining so bright like a yellow sun Melts in my mouth with a breezy taste An unexpected summer has just begun [Outro] You never know until you break it open Our yellow sweet surprise
