Onto Never-There [Simple Draft][DOMS: ACT:4 SONG: TBD]

[STAGE DIRECTIONS] [FX: Clockwork hum falters; gear-clicks misfire. False Sotha-Sil stands rigid, Muatra trembling faintly.] [Lighting bends—ordered geometries distort; colors seep like bruised oil.] [Elytra crowd murmurs with tense chitter-clicks.] [FALSE SOTHA-SIL — male tenor, autotuned, glitch-fractured] “Ch… ch… child of ash— your passion is… un… un… rejis—tered—err—error—” [MASK FRACTURES — STAGE] [A shriek of harmonic failure; syllables fan out into multi-pitched distortion. Silhouette ripples, warps.] [ASHIMASI — female mezzo-soprano, slight gravel, breath-heavy clarity] “…What face are you wearing now…?” [THE CHANGE BEGINS — STAGE] [False Sil freezes; grin blooms unnaturally wide beneath the mask.] [Muatra emits a sharp brass overtone; golden motes spiral upward, sketching faint silhouettes of Vivec and Masiashi.] [SHEOGORATH (still behind mask) — male baritone-tenor, playful, manic shimmer] “Ohhh? That was unexpected. You’ve gone and kicked over the board, dear Ashimasi— and here I thought you were just another pawn with pretty phrasing!” [LAUGHTER — STAGE] [A delighted, effervescent laugh echoes; the mask convulses, cracking at the jawline.] [SHEOGORATH — male baritone-tenor, bright, unhinged lilt] “Oh, hush, you lanky stick— I’m getting to the release!” [MUATRA DESTABILIZES — STAGE] [Muatra cracks with a resonant brass-ring; silhouettes of Vivec and Masiashi thicken, swirling in particulate gold.] [ASHIMASI — female mezzo-soprano, trembling but resolute] “You are not order. You are not love. You are a lie wearing a dead god’s skin.” [MASK FULLY DROPS — STAGE] [False-Sil’s face collapses inward like paper burned in reverse; Ashen motes explode outward as Sheogorath steps forward fully revealed.] [SHEOGORATH — male baritone-tenor, exuberant, triumphant mania] “WELL THEN! If the girl wants truth— let’s give her the WHOLE, WONDERFUL, WICKED STORY!” [MUSIC CUE — INTO ‘DAU OF THE MAD STAR’] [Toy piano arpeggio in skewed meter rises; bugle-tone motif pulses beneath.] [Muatra splits; VIVEC and MASIASHI tumble free onto the stone, gasping, reconstituting.] OPTIONAL POETIC NARRATOR INTERLUDE (All bracketed; may be delivered as spoken, sung-recitative, or projected text.) [NARRATOR — gender-neutral voice, soft British RP, poetic cadence] [“There are moments, rare as star-fall, when a mortal sings a truth so sharp it cuts a god’s mask clean from the god’s own face. Ashimasi sang one such truth. Her fury slid under the gears of False Sotha-Sil, and the god-machine shuddered. For Sheogorath— architect of sideways fate— felt in her voice a thing he seldom feels: recognition. She named the lie. She named the violence. She named the madness masquerading as mercy. And Sheogorath— delighted to be seen at last— shed the clockwork mask and rose in his star-born colors. For Ashimasi had walked out of her allotted fate, burned the script he left her, and demanded the god’s true voice. And gods— even mad ones— cannot resist an audience that finally understands the play.”]
