Playlist of past mixes: https://suno.com/playlist/f41cb4cc-5b2b-4a91-b774-6804afb8755c I've set up a series of parameters with ChatGPT to continue my Weekly Fusion experiment with them. At the end of each week, I will prompt ChatGPT to generate lyrics based on the titles of songs that I've published within that given week. I will simply cram the titles together like a bad sentence and let GPT take the reins from there with the understanding that content and context is at their full discretion. As I tend to occasionally write about personally-crafted characters and worlds, they will be allowed to ask clarifying questions about unfamiliar words if they feel that it is warranted, but I have encouraged them to feel free to create their own assumptions as well. This is and always has been a project born of curiosity and experimentation. I often use these weekly fusions as an opportunity to test out new sounds and combinations, and having ready-made lyrics allows me to focus on the sound of a track rather than its entire shape. I've honestly discovered more than a few personas (voices) this way that have joined my little troupe. Feel free to try this with your own library! :) This week's prompt: life. is. a new blue psychic ink in cosmos the banshee fly, little letter Secondary name: "The Universe Has Terrible Handwriting" Title Salad #015 β€” Nov 2026 Β· Week 1 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ [Intro β€” a single music-box note, followed by a faint scratching sound; distant, airy voices] Life. Is. ... A word I haven't finished. [Verse 1 β€” intimate, curious vocal; sparse piano and plucked strings] I found a letter in the morning With no address and no name Just a little drop of blue upon the paper And a corner touched by flame It said, "Dear little something," Then the ink began to run And a thousand tiny constellations Spilled across my thumb There were commas in the garden There were periods in the rain And a question mark was hanging From the windowpane I tried to read the message But the letters wouldn't stay They were turning into starlings And preparing to fly away [Pre-Chorus β€” bowed strings begin to swell] Oh, the ink knows where it's going Though the pen has lost its way And the sky keeps folding corners On another unfinished day [Chorus β€” expansive, luminous, slightly off-kilter] Life is a new blue Written on the dark Psychic ink in cosmos Leaving little marks Fly, little letter Find the one you seek There's a universe inside you And a word you cannot speak Oh, fly, little letter Through the ever, through the never If the stars forget their places You can put them back together [Verse 2 β€” rhythmic pizzicato; strange little vocal echoes] I took the letter to the ocean And the ocean said, "Not mine" Though it kept a little punctuation In the breaking of its tide I took the letter to the mountain And the mountain hummed a note That was older than the language Of the message someone wrote Then a banshee crossed the treetops With a ribbon in her hair And she caught a falling syllable That had wandered through the air She said, "Words are funny creatures They are frightened of the end But a sentence isn't finished Till it finds a place to land" [Pre-Chorus β€” a high voice doubles the melody, almost a whistle] Oh, the ink knows where it's going Though the pen has lost its way And the sky keeps folding corners On another unfinished day [Chorus β€” fuller orchestration; layered voices in call-and-response] Life is a new blue Written on the dark Psychic ink in cosmos Leaving little marks Fly, little letter Find the one you seek There's a universe inside you And a word you cannot speak Oh, fly, little letter Through the ever, through the never If the stars forget their places You can put them back together [Instrumental interlude β€” bright celesta notes scatter into granular echoes; a wordless soprano rises and falls] [Bridge β€” time slows; intimate spoken/sung dialogue] I asked the banshee, "Who wrote this?" She said, "Who do you suppose?" I said, "Someone very lonely." She said, "Everybody knows." I asked her, "Who receives it?" She said, "That's the harder part." Then she pressed the folded paper To the beating of my heart And the ink began to blossom And the little stars aligned Not into a name or number But a shape I recognized A window. And a garden. And a hand against the glass. And a thousand little moments I had never thought would last. [Break β€” near silence; one trembling string harmonic] Life. Is. ... [Soft second voice] Go on. [Final Chorus β€” gently triumphant, choral harmonies opening into warmth] Life is a new blue Written on the dark Every little living thing A punctuation mark Fly, little letter There's no one left to seek There's a universe inside you And it's learning how to speak Oh, fly, little letter Through the ever, through the never If the stars forget their places We can put them back together [Outro β€” music-box melody returns, now accompanied by warm strings] I found a letter in the morning With no address and no name I turned it over in my fingers And I read the words again "Dear little something, I'm so glad you came." ... [A soft scratching sound, like a pen moving across paper] "Love, Everything."
