[Intro] Look to the sky When the shadows rise Silver fire Burns above [Verse 1] Power is easy when no one can stop you Strength is a simple thing to own But what will you do when the weak stand before you And no one will ever know? Will you raise your hand to protect them? Will you turn when the danger begins? A crown is worth nothing If all that it proves Is the number of battles you win [Pre-Chorus] Strength without mercy Is only a chain Justice without wisdom Is vengeance by name So spread your wings And choose what you defend [Chorus] Bahamut Platinum wings Rise above the fire Hear the heavens ring Bahamut Guardian high Let the silver dragon Cross the burning sky Stand for the helpless Stand for the right Power means nothing If you don't use it right Bahamut Platinum wings Let justice fly tonight [Post-Chorus] Fly Higher Through the flame Fly Higher Speak his name Bahamut Bahamut Silver in the sky [Verse 2] Dragons may treasure their mountains of riches Mortals may fight over thrones But gold cannot measure the worth of a lifetime And kingdoms are more than their stones Honor is choosing restraint when you're stronger Mercy when vengeance is near Standing between those who hunger for power And everyone living in fear [Pre-Chorus] Strength without purpose Will hollow the soul Power is greatest When power has control So spread your wings And choose what you defend [Chorus] Bahamut Platinum wings Rise above the fire Hear the heavens ring Bahamut Guardian high Let the silver dragon Cross the burning sky Stand for the helpless Stand for the right Power means nothing If you don't use it right Bahamut Platinum wings Let justice fly tonight [Verse 3] Far in the darkness Five voices are calling Five hungry mouths want the throne Fire and lightning Poison and winter Claiming the whole world their own Let Tiamat gather her treasure and fury Let every chromatic flame rise There is another dragon above them And platinum burns In the skies [Pre-Chorus] Not out of hatred Not out of pride Stand because someone Must stand on their side When tyranny rises The righteous must rise [Chorus] Bahamut Platinum wings Rise above the fire Hear the heavens ring Bahamut Guardian high Let the silver dragon Cross the burning sky Stand for the helpless Stand for the right Power means nothing If you don't use it right Bahamut Platinum wings Let justice fly tonight [Bridge] You don't need a throne To carry honor You don't need a crown To make a stand Every act of mercy Every shield raised Carries something Of the Platinum Dragon's hand Be strong enough To choose compassion Be brave enough To forgive But when the cruel Come for the innocent Be strong enough To make them leave [Breakdown] One shield One oath One flame One hope One sky Open wide Platinum wings Rise [Build] Raise your voice Raise your shield Stand for those Who cannot yield Through the smoke Through the night Let the heavens Burn with light Higher Higher Hear the dragon cry Higher Higher Platinum fills the sky [Final Chorus] Bahamut Platinum wings Rise above the fire Let the whole world sing Bahamut Guardian high Let the silver dragon Cross the morning sky Stand for the helpless Stand for the right Power means nothing If you don't use it right Bahamut Platinum wings Let justice fly tonight Bahamut Hear our call Strength is not in ruling all Bahamut Show us why The strongest wings Protect Not dominate The sky [Outro] Look to the sky When the shadows rise No crown No throne Just platinum light And wings Across the dawn.
