THE RIGHTEOUS CRY [Verse 1] When the night is falling And my heart is filled with fear When the road is getting harder I know my God is near Though the tears may keep on falling I will lift my eyes on high For the Lord hears every prayer When the righteous cry [Pre-Chorus] He will hear, He will answer He will never turn away In the darkest hour He will make a way [Chorus] The righteous cry, and the Lord hears He delivers them from all their fears When we call His holy name He will come and break the chains The righteous cry, and He is near He will wipe away every tear Through the storm, through the night He will lead us to the light [Verse 2] When my strength is almost gone And I cannot carry on I will trust the One who holds me I will know I’m not alone Every burden, every sorrow I will place into His hands For the God who hears my crying Still will help me stand [Pre-Chorus] He will hear, He will answer He will never turn away In the darkest hour He will make a way [Chorus] The righteous cry, and the Lord hears He delivers them from all their fears When we call His holy name He will come and break the chains The righteous cry, and He is near He will wipe away every tear Through the storm, through the night He will lead us to the light [Bridge] I will not fear, I will not run My help is coming from the Holy One I will believe, I will stand My life is safe within His hands He hears me when I call He catches me when I fall Forever I will testify My God is listening when I cry [Final Chorus] The righteous cry, and the Lord hears He delivers them from all their fears When we call His holy name He will come and break the chains The righteous cry, and He is near His faithful love will calm our fears Through the storm, through the night He will lead us to the light [Outro] The righteous cry… And the Lord hears… He is near… He is near…
