[Verse] Learn the parable of the fig tree: when its shoot comes forth and its twigs grow, the end of the world shall come. And Peter said unto the Master, Interpret unto me concerning the fig tree, for every year it brings forth fruit for its master. What then means this parable? We know it not. [Verse] And the Master answered Peter, The fig tree is the house of Israel. A man planted a fig tree in his garden, and it brought forth no fruit. He said unto the keeper, Root it up, that it make not the ground unfruitful. But the keeper said, Let us clear away the weeds, dig around it and water it. If it bears no fruit, then remove its roots and plant another in its place. [Chorus] The fig tree is the house of Israel. When its twigs sprout in the last days, false Messiahs shall come and awaken expectation, saying, I am the Messiah, I am now come into the world. [Instrumental] [Verse] But this deceiver is not the Messiah. And when they reject him, he shall slay with the sword, and there shall be many martyrs. Then the twigs of the fig tree, the house of Israel, shall shoot forth. Many shall become martyrs at his hand. [Verse] Enoch and Elias shall be sent to teach them: This is the deceiver who must come into the world and do signs and wonders to deceive. And those who die by his hand shall be martyrs, and shall be reckoned among the good and righteous martyrs who pleased Elohim in their life. [Chorus] The fig tree is the house of Israel. When its twigs sprout in the last days, false Messiahs shall come and awaken expectation. [Extended Instrumental Outro]
