You laughed at the Gospel. You turned away from grace.
[Intro — Spoken, dark and solemn] You laughed at the Gospel. You turned away from grace. You thought you'd never bow to Jesus. But God knows how to find you. [Verse 1] You mocked the Cross, despised the Name, You called redemption foolishness and shame. But God has spoken—His Word will stand, No force can thwart His sovereign hand. The Son endured the Cross for this, To bring the lost to saving bliss. His blood was shed, His work was done, His grace will call His chosen ones. [Pre-Chorus] The world may laugh, the proud may sneer, But Heaven's purpose will persevere. The Word goes forth, the seed is sown, And God will claim His very own! [Chorus — Huge, Triumphant] THE CALL THAT BREAKS THROUGH! The voice that shakes the soul! The grace that finds the rebel And makes the broken whole! THE CALL THAT BREAKS THROUGH! No human strength can stand! The heart that once rejected Christ Now rests within His hand! [Verse 2] Some hear the call and walk away, Some hear the truth but will not stay. Some praise the faith of every man, But will not bow to God's own plan. Yet grace can reach the hardest heart, And tear the walls of pride apart. The one who swore he'd never kneel May find God's love is stronger still. [Pre-Chorus] Not eloquence, nor human skill, Can bend the heart against its will. But when the Holy Spirit moves, The sinner hears—and turns to Christ! [Chorus] THE CALL THAT BREAKS THROUGH! The voice that shakes the soul! The grace that finds the rebel And makes the broken whole! THE CALL THAT BREAKS THROUGH! No human strength can stand! The heart that once rejected Christ Now rests within His hand! [Verse 3 — Saul on the Damascus Road] He rode toward Damascus, proud and sure, Convinced his cause was righteous and pure. Then Heaven's light broke through the skies, And Jesus called before his eyes. “Saul, Saul, why persecute Me?” The risen Lord had set him free. The man who hunted Christ's own name Would preach the Savior he once blamed! [Bridge — Half-Time, Spoken] Have you ever felt that call? You fought against the truth. You pushed away the Word. You made your plans and shut your ears. Then something changed. The message you once despised Began to search your heart. You saw your need. You saw the Cross. You saw the Savior. And the One you would not follow became the One you could not live without. That is the power of God's grace! [Bridge — Sung, Building] Not by my wisdom! Not by my might! You brought my darkness Into Your light! Not by my goodness! Not by my claim! You called me, Jesus, And I came! [Breakdown — Spoken] The call of the Gospel goes out to all. But no sinner can boast that he conquered sin by his own strength. Salvation is God's gift of grace. And the Savior who died upon the Cross is able to save the very one who once despised His Name. Come to Jesus Christ. [Final Chorus — Full Power, Choir] THE CALL THAT BREAKS THROUGH! The voice that shakes the soul! The grace that finds the rebel And makes the broken whole! THE CALL THAT BREAKS THROUGH! Let every nation hear! The crucified and risen Christ Still calls the sinner near! The proud shall bow! The lost shall sing! The grace of God has done its work! All glory to the King! [Outro — Slow, Powerful] His Word will not return in vain. His saving purpose will remain. The Cross has spoken—Christ has won! All praise to God, the saving Son!
