PAGE ONE – SOMERLYTON ROAD, BRICKY Panel 1: Wide shot. Chill and Wee-Ma emerge from the shadows of Sommerlyton Road. The cracked pavement glows faintly under sodium lamps. Graffiti tags ripple with hidden codes. CAPTION (Chill): Brixton never sleeps. It just shifts — between noise and silence, memory and myth. Panel 2: Close-up of Wee-Ma’s wrinkled hand clutching her cane. On its brass tip — a faint shimmer of blue light. WEE-MA (whispering): Keep your eyes peeled, hen. Even the bricks here talk if ye ken their language. --- [ Hook intro ] 👉 "→ Brixton House → Brixton Station Rd → Atlantic bridge (graffiti) → Dog Star → Electric Lane." -LYRIC CAPTION (glitched): “…out in the streetz, out in the streetz…” PAGE TWO – ATLANTIC ROAD BRIDGE Panel 1: The two approach the rail bridge, traffic roaring, headlights slicing through fumes. A mural overhead: colours blasted by spray, letters melted into spirals. SFX: HOOONK! (lorry brakes squeal) Panel 2: Wee-Ma steps boldly into the traffic. Cars grind to a sudden halt, their lights flickering. Drivers look frozen, as though time itself hitched CAPTION: And somehow — it does stop for her. ---Hook intro ] 👉 "→ Brixton House → Brixton Station Rd → Atlantic bridge (graffiti) → Dog Star → Electric Lane." ---LYRIC CAPTION (glitched): “…out in the streetz, out in the streetz…” PAGE THREE – THE DOG STAR TO ELECTRIC LANE Panel 1: They pass the boarded-up Dog Star pub. Windows blind, walls pasted with old flyers half-eaten by damp. A Null-symbol scrawled like a third eye above the door. WEE-MA (muttering): Once a busy spot… now it’s just listening. Panel 2: They cut down toward Electric Lane. The narrow street is alive with markets — neon stalls, call-and-response of hawkers, steaming food clouds, phones flashing selfies. SFX: “Fresh ackee, fresh mangos! Two pound fe yuh!” ---Hook intro ] 👉 "→ Brixton House → Brixton Station Rd → Atlantic bridge (graffiti) → Dog Star → Electric Lane." PAGE FOUR – THE HOLOGRAMS Panel 1: A giant digital screen flickers on. Eddy Grant’s “Electric Avenue” video bursts into motion. The 80s crowd in the clip stutter-glitches — their faces warping into ghostly masks. LYRIC CAPTION (glitched): “…out in the street, out in the street…” Panel 2: Close on Chill’s face, caught between awe and unease. CHILL (thought): Even the music remembers the riots. Panel 3: Another shimmer: a holographic bust of Sir Henry Tate rises beside the stalls. Half-marble, half-chrome. Data-roots writhe from the pedestal into the pavement. WEE-MA: Sugar king. Library builder. A statue wi’ two faces… and a lock only we can open. Panel 4: Chill leans in. The hologram flickers. Tate’s stone eyes seem to glance directly at her. CAPTION: Past and present, stitched by light. Brixton hides its keys in plain sight. ---Hook intro ] 👉 "→ Brixton House → Brixton Station Rd → Atlantic bridge (graffiti) → Dog Star → Electric Lane." LYRIC CAPTION (glitched): “…out in the street, out in the street…” PAGE FIVE – THE EDGE OF ELECTRIC LANE Panel 1: Chill and Wee-Ma move past the holographic Tate bust. Behind them, the market stalls seem to ripple, like soundwaves tugging at the air. WEE-MA (quietly): Y’hear it? The hum. Bricky’s nae just noise, hen… it’s current. Panel 2: Overhead, tangled wires and busted neon signs spark, as if answering her. The street lamps flicker in rhythm — like a Morse code pulse. ---LYRIC CAPTION (glitched): “…out in the street, out in the street…” PAGE SIX – THE FORGOTTEN STAIRS Panel 1: They stop at a half-collapsed iron gate sunk into the ground. Faded council sign: “Public Conveniences. Closed.” Layers of stickers, grime, and Null graffiti cover the surface. CAPTION (Chill): I remember these… shut down before I was born. But the city never forgets. Panel 2: Wee-Ma taps her cane on the gate. SFX: KLANG! Panel 3: The Tate hologram across the street flickers violently. Its eyes blaze white. The ground beneath the gate glows faintly, as if an engine buried deep below has stirred awake. WEE-MA: Aye. There it is. The wee Turner. The lock waits on you, lass --- PAGE SEVEN – THE QUANTUM SWITCH Panel 1: Chill kneels, pressing her palm against the cold iron. A pattern of blue digital veins spreads from her skin, tracing the rusted frame. CAPTION: Every city keeps a secret vein. Some folk bleed when they touch it. Some… open it. Panel 2: The gate hisses open, stairs revealed, spiraling downward into an impossible light. SFX: SSHHHHHHHRK! Panel 3: A rush of spectral wind surges upward. Market stalls rattle. The Eddy Grant hologram freezes mid-dance. The song skips. GLITCH CAPTION: “…take it higher—higher—higher—higher—” Panel 4: Wee-Ma smiles, face half-lit by the glow. Her wrinkles cut sharp, her eyes wet with something between pride and warning. WEE-MA: Welcome tae the underpulse, Chill. Noo let’s see if yer ready tae walk it. -LYRIC CAPTION (glitched): “…out in the street, out in the street…”
