Open Every Door

[Verse 1] I woke up heavy With the gray on my chest Door cracked open But I still held my breath You pulled me closer Said, "Don't dim your flame" Now I feel it moving Like a spark in the rain [Pre-Chorus] So I lift my face Let the shadows fall One small seed of hope Can outgrow it all [Chorus] Let the light shine bright Let it hit my heart Let the light shine bright Right here in the dark I won't hide tonight I was made for more Let the light shine bright (Open every door) [Verse 2] Bare feet on the floor And a new morning sound Old hurt in the rearview Can't slow me down I used to fold small When the doubt got loud Now I stand up taller I won't bow to it now [Pre-Chorus] So I lift my face Let the shadows fall One small seed of hope Can outgrow it all [Chorus] Let the light shine bright Let it hit my heart Let the light shine bright Right here in the dark I won't hide tonight I was made for more Let the light shine bright (Open every door) [Bridge] If I shake, stay near If I fall, lift me up Even scars can glow When they're filled with love Now the room feels warm And the fear gets small I hear freedom call I hear freedom call [Final Chorus] Let the light shine bright Let it hit my heart Let the light shine bright Right here in the dark I won't hide tonight I was made for more Let the light shine bright (Open every door) Let the light shine bright Let it hit my heart Let the light shine bright Right here in the dark I won't hide tonight I was made for more Let the light shine bright (Open every door)
