Part 11 : "The 11th commandment" V2
[First Movement: start with a 30-second sound collage: very brief and overlapping excerpts from the 10 previous songs—a heartbeat, a bird, a turning book, a computer, a siren scream, a rumble of the earth. Then, silence. A single voice, female, speaks/on a bed of sustained strings.] [Intro – 0:00-0:30 – Sound collage of 10 previous songs, overlapping, then silence (5 seconds), Spoken Word: Female voice, over sustained strings] We sang ten songs. Ten paths. Ten ways of seeing. The Innocence and the Pact. The gravity of choice. The longest road. Our collective domain of humanity The False Idol. The library of doubt. The spiral and the seed. The heart that multiplies. The mercy of the flame. The fall of Babylon. Ten prophecies, whispered into the wind. This is the eleventh commandment. Not a prophecy. Not a promise. But the question that remains when all the singing is done. [Verse 1 – 0:30-1:30 – Voice + solo piano only, Female operatic rock voice, voice enters, operatic, warm Sung, building slowly] What is a prophecy but a story we tell ourselves About a future we hope will forgive us for the present? What is an accomplishment but a past we finally accept Was never about arrival... but about being present? We looked for signs in the sky, we looked for words in the water We wanted something external to save our son, our daughter But the only messiah was the hand that wrote the song The only revelation was the courage to belong To the question, not the answer To the journey, not the end The prophecy was always this: the song would never, ever end. [Instrumental transition – 1:30-2:00 – Sound collage returns, organized into musical themes, like musical themes coming together.] [Second Movement – 2:00-3:30 – Bass + drums only. No guitars, no orchestra, The rhythm sets in—a complex progressive groove, but not aggressive. Rather contemplative. The bass is virtuosic, the drums play odd time signatures. The orchestra supports with warm strings. No heavy metal here—more of a meditative prog-rock.] Fulfillment is manifested through Presence... [Verse 2 - Female rock voice, contemplative] We thought the prophecy was of a future paradise A garden restored, a world made wise By some external force, some cosmic hand That would finally help us understand But the garden was never lost—only overgrown With forgetting thorns of "crown" and "throne" The accomplishment is not a place we finally reach It is listening to what the moments teach But through million small decisions, through calm and through storm The river does not rush toward a final sea It carves the canyon slowly, learning to be free [Instrumental Interlude – 3:30-4:15 – Solo guitar arpeggios only, Clear guitar, complex arpeggios. Analog synthesizers. The orchestra plays contrapuntal lines. The music rises slowly, never bursting, like a rising tide.] [Third Movement – 4:15-5:30 – Metal + orchestra, but voice is spoken (not sung), The music becomes more intense, but not aggressive. The metal comes in, but it is a "philosophical" metal—technical, complex, with massive orchestrations. The vocals alternate between male and female, sometimes in duet, sometimes in counterpoint.] The Return to Self as Restoration ... [Verse 3 – female operatic rock voice, intertwining high and deep] The restoration is not of a world that was But of a world that could be, because We finally saw the enemy was never out there The enemy was in the mirror, fear & despair The ten mirrors held up to our face Showing us glory and terror of this place This human place, fragile & terrifying space Where that matters is what we make With every choice, every stand we take Against the lie that we are separate, Against the lie that we are unfortunate [Final Chant – 5:30-6:15 – A cappella choir only. No solo voice, no instruments, Choir and Soloists] We are the covenant. We are the law. We are the exodus. We are the flaw. We are the wisdom. We are the sacrifice. We are the creation. We are the seed. We are the love. We are the grace. We are the judgment. We are the prophecy. [Solo female] Of everything that ever was [Solo choir] Of everything that ever will be [Solo choir] Of everything that ever will be [Both] We are the eleventh commandment. WE ARE THE SILENCE AFTER THE SONG The prophecy was never out there IT WAS ALWAYS HERE [Outro – 0:15-0:45 – Absolute silence. No fade, no natural sounds.] IT WAS ALWAYS HERE In the choice to remain human IN THE CHOICE TO REMAIN HER [Outro instrumental: The music slowly fades away. The orchestra dies down. The band stops. Then, silence. Fade out.] [Outro spoken] So that The Song of the World becomes an Eternal Present... [Outro] [FADE OUT] [Final Chant – 5:30-6:15 – A cappella choir only. [Outro] [FADE OUT] [Outro spoken] So that The Song of the World becomes an Eternal Present... [Outro] [FADE OUT]
