[Title: Again, WHO IS CHRIST TO THEE?] [Spoken} Listen and LEARN, son of The republic. [Verse 1] You brought your charts. You brought your schools. You brought a thousand learned rules. Brother fought brother, page by page, while every scholar built his cage. You know the Greek. You know the dates. You know exactly who God hates. You mapped the beast. You named the whore. You won the argument— What was it for? Congratulations. You proved you're right. Did anybody see Christ tonight? [Hook] YOU THINK YOU KNOW? NOTHING YET. Knowledge puffed your little chest— “If any man think that he knoweth any thing, he knoweth nothing yet as he ought to know.” NOTHING. YET. [Verse 2] Now make some room. The South Queen stands. No cuddle. No flattering. No theological games. She came with a rod and one question in His name. “Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the LORD pondereth the hearts.” “There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.” Still feeling clever? Good. “Seest thou a man wise in his own conceit? There is more hope of a fool than of him.” That's Proverbs. Not the Queen. Not your enemy. The Book you keep carrying. [Hook] YOU THINK YOU KNOW? NOTHING YET. You know your doctrine. You know your sect. But brother— WHO IS CHRIST TO THEE? [Verse 3] You love your order? Behold an Order you didn't build. Before Levi paid tithes. Before Aaron wore garments. Before your seminary printed its first degree— Mel-KIZ-eh-dek. King of Salem. Priest of the most high God. “The LORD hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Mel-KIZ-eh-dek.” Not elected by your committee. Not ordained by your approval. Jesus Christ— “Called of God an high priest after the order of Mel-KIZ-eh-dek.” Now tell me again how neatly you've arranged Him. [Bridge] Some already tried to undress her. Pull apart her words. Search her history. Tell the world what they think they found. Brother— she was naked before God before you ever looked. “All things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.” So put down your magnifying glass. While you were trying to strip her bare— one verse was waiting to strip you. [Silence] “The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it...” She came to hear wisdom. And behold— A GREATER THAN SOLOMON IS HERE. So here's the rod. Not your timeline. Not your denomination. Not Calvin. Not Luther. Not your preacher. Not your prophet. One question. WHO IS CHRIST TO THEE? [Breakdown] You knew Revelation but couldn't show mercy. You studied accusation until you sounded like the accuser. You defended truth without charity. “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom.” Beginning. Brother— you weren't graduating. You were supposed to be beginning. “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.” There goes your understanding. “Knowledge puffeth up, but charity edifieth.” There goes your chest. And God forbid I become another prick with a Bible in my fist, telling every other prick how blind he is. Strip me too, Lord. Strip the Queen. Strip the scholar. Strip the preacher. Strip us all of everything that competes with Christ. [Final Hook] YOU THINK YOU KNOW? NOTHING YET. WISE IN YOUR OWN EYES? NOTHING YET. Let every theological crown hit the ground. THE QUEEN OF THE SOUTH SHALL RISE. Not to make herself King. She points beyond Solomon. Beyond Aaron. Beyond every earthly throne— TO JESUS CHRIST. So answer her! WHO IS CHRIST TO THEE? When your system cannot answer— WHO IS CHRIST TO THEE? When your teachers stand naked too— WHO IS CHRIST TO THEE? When all things are opened before Him— WHO IS CHRIST TO THEE? [Outro] “Behold, a greater than Solomon is here.” “A priest for ever after the order of Mel-KIZ-eh-dek.” Wisdom has a King. The priesthood has a High Priest. The Queen has a Lord. Jesus is the Lord.
