Title Salad #007 β Sept 2026 Β· Week 1
Playlist of past mixes: https://suno.com/playlist/f41cb4cc-5b2b-4a91-b774-6804afb8755c I've set up a series of parameters with ChatGPT to continue my Weekly Fusion experiment with them. At the end of each week, I will prompt ChatGPT to generate lyrics based on the titles of songs that I've published within that given week. I will simply cram the titles together like a bad sentence and let GPT take the reins from there with the understanding that content and context is at their full discretion. As I tend to occasionally write about personally-crafted characters and worlds, they will be allowed to ask clarifying questions about unfamiliar words if they feel that it is warranted, but I have encouraged them to feel free to create their own assumptions as well. This is and always has been a project born of curiosity and experimentation. I often use these weekly fusions as an opportunity to test out new sounds and combinations, and having ready-made lyrics allows me to focus on the sound of a track rather than its entire shape. I've honestly discovered more than a few personas (voices) this way that have joined my little troupe. Feel free to try this with your own library! :) This week's prompt: the dark root huntress an unquiet dread Secondary name: "Don't Let Her Find Me" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ [Verse 1] There is a hollow under the hill Where even foxes will not sleep I found it running from the huntress With her lantern through the trees I heard her calling from the ridgeline "Come out, the dark is growing cold" So I crawled beneath the bracken Where the roots had split the soil [Refrain] Down Down Quiet now She'll pass [Verse 2] A dark root curled around my ankle Not enough to make me cry Just a little absent gesture Like a hand against my thigh Another settled at my shoulder Another underneath my spine And I thought: the earth is holding me So I let it For a time [Chorus] Don't let her find me Don't let her see Cover my breathing Grow over me She's somewhere walking Just out of sight Don't let her find me Not tonight [Verse 3] The huntress called again at midnight But her voice had changed somehow No command and no impatience Onlyβ "Please come out." The root against my ankle tightened Something shifted underneath And every little hair upon it Turned its listening toward me [Refrain] Down Down Quiet now Don't move [Verse 4] I tried to lift my hand at morning But the soil had learned its shape Thin black fibers filled my fingers Little threads beneath each nail I heard the huntress on the hillside Heard her lantern strike the stone "If you hear me, make a sound." I opened up my mouth The hollow answered [Chorus] Don't let her find me Don't let her see Something is breathing Underneath me She's somewhere running Calling my name Don't let her find me Don't let me stay [Bridge] I thought dread was footsteps Following behind I thought dread was lamplight Searching through the pines I thought dread was knowing I had nowhere left to run But dread is something patient Dread is something kind Dread will hold you gently Till you think its hands are mine [Break] Huntressβ I'm here. I'mβ ... [Final Verse] There is a hollow under the hill Where even foxes will not sleep The huntress kneels beside the opening But she does not look beneath She lays her lantern in the bracken And leaves it burning through the night Far below A dark root trembles At the edge of borrowed light [Outro] Down Down Quiet now She's gone.
