[Verse] The mount was bright with heaven's glow Their hearts were filled yet weighed below They saw Him rise to realms above Our Savior crowned with endless love [Chorus] Oh risen King to You we cry Exalted Lord who touched the sky Though hearts may ache as You ascend Your Spirit stays till time shall end [Verse] The scars He bore still marked His hands A proof of love no heart withstands But now He leaves to light the way For us to walk where shadows lay [Bridge] Tears and joy in their eyes collide Their faith renewed yet fears abide How could they stand with Him so near And face the world when He’s not here [Chorus] Oh risen King to You we cry Exalted Lord who touched the sky Though hearts may ache as You ascend Your Spirit stays till time shall end [Verse] He spoke of power from above A guide to fill their hearts with love Though feet now rest on earth below Our mission makes our spirits glow
