THE DIVINE SOURCE Without religion (By Ina Vez) One Divine Source, one boundless force, One Universal Energy, the eternal Source. It moves through all being, through earth and sky, A presence eternal, that shall never die. No prophet shall stand between Source and the soul, No sacred book claim the truth as a whole. No human authority shall command what is right, Or tell another what they must believe by divine might. No prayer shall be forced, no ritual required, No fasting imposed, no temple desired. No church, mosque, or altar shall govern the way, For each soul is free to seek truth in its day. Harm not the living, by hatred or pride, Let peace be your compass, Harm not the living, by hatred or pride, Let peace be your compass, with respect as your guide. Live gently upon this beautiful earth, And honor all life for whatever its worth. Choose your own path, let your conscience be free, Let no earthly power dictate what you must be. And food is a choice, not a heavenly decree, No divine command shall decide what you eat No fear for the spirit, no doctrines to bind, The Divine Source awakens the free human mind. A new faith of peace, where all souls may be one, One Source, one eternal Energy as One
