Onward Upward - Jason Myers

[intro] Ba bub baba Dee bub bub bub a doo - doo do did do - wooooo yeah yeah yeah yeah [Verse 1] Keep your chin up, count your wins up, Turn the page and pour the gin up. Every cloud’s got lines of silver, Let the past go, be a giver. [Pre-Chorus] What’s done is done, no point in crying, Every fall just means you’re flying. [Chorus] Onward, upward, here we go, Plenty of fish in the overflow. It is what it is, and that’s alright, New day, new way — yeah, that’s right! [Verse 2] Take the lesson, skip the sorrow, Dream today, don’t wait for tomorrow. Close that book, but keep the heart wide, Let it ride — life’s the fun side. [instrumental - fun trumpets] Boo ba doo da dum stun (haha) la la la quack quack babba dooba doo - sha la la la la [Pre-Chorus] No regrets, just good intentions, Every “fail” is new invention. [Chorus] Onward, upward, here we go, Plenty of fish in the overflow. It is what it is, and that’s alright, New day, new way — yeah, that’s right! [Bridge] You can’t rush the healing, But you can choose the feeling. Smile wide, the sun’s revealing — You’re still here, that’s the meaning! [Final Chorus] Onward, upward, here we go, The best is yet — just so you know. It is what it is, and that’s alright, Next chapter’s bright — yeah, that’s right!
