[Verse 1] High orbit silence, then the klaxons scream Strapped into the coffin, livin' out the dream Slipspace rupture, blinding, tearing white Leaving atmosphere for the endless night Pods away, hear the locking clamps release Plummeting towards chaos, prayin' for some peace? Nah, peace ain't the mission, gotta make the drop Prepare for impact, never gonna stop! [Pre-Chorus] Steel rain fallin', hear the sonic boom Burnin' through the layers, meetin' certain doom? Maybe for the others, but we know the creed Got the gear, got the grit, got the bleedin' need! [Chorus] FEET FIRST INTO HELL! Hear the metal cry! Droppin' like thunder from a broken sky! No fear, no hesitation, just the job to do We're the O.D.S.T.! Comin' straight for you! HELLJUMPER! Screamin' through the air! O.D.S.T.! Does the devil care? Ground rush rising, make the planet shake! We're the O.D.S.T.! For humanity's sake! [Verse 2] Flames lick the viewport, turbulence takes hold See the city burnin', stories to be told Tracer fire rising, ack-ack blooms bright Just another welcome to another nasty fight Check the ammo counter, grip the SMG tight Brother droppin' with me, sharin' in the fright Turn that fear to anger, let the adrenaline flow Locked and loaded, ready for the show below! [Guitar Solo] [Bridge] Impact imminent! Brace! Hear the shriek and groan! Crack the hatch wide open! We are not alone! Covenant waitin'? Plasma burnin' bright? Let 'em come and face us! Bring the damn fight! We hit the ground runnin'! [Outro] O.D.S.T.! Feet First! O.D.S.T.! Into the worst! O... D... S... T!
