🎵 TRACK 2 — LIGHT IN OUR DARKNESS (Storytelling + Spoken Mid) [Intro - Spoken] If your December feels darker than joyful, If your thoughts feel louder than the carols… This is for you. [Verse 1] Shadows fall on busy streets, Neon signs and tired feet, People laughing, people loud, But you feel outside the crowd. Questions echo in your mind, “Will I ever be alright?” Then a whisper breaks the silence— “There is still a light.” [Verse 2] Long before your darkest night, Heaven planned a brilliant light. Not a spotlight for the strong, But a lamp for those who walk alone. In the middle of your chaos, In the corners of your fear, Jesus steps into the darkness Just to say, “I’m here.” [Pre-Chorus] No night too deep, No thought too heavy, No past too stained For His mercy. [Chorus] You are the Light In our darkness, Shining hope Where we feel heartless. No night too deep, No shame too far— Jesus, Light of every heart. When all we see Are broken pieces, You turn our wounds Into new beginnings. You are the Light In our darkness— Jesus, You are. [Spoken - Mid] The Bible says, “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” That means your fears don’t get the final say. Your past doesn’t get the final chapter. Jesus does. [Verse 3] When you feel you’re barely breathing, When the days all look the same, He’s the glow behind the horizon, He’s the hope within your pain. You don’t have to fix your story Before you let Him in— His light is not afraid of shadows, It’s where His healing work begins. [Bridge] Shine in every hidden place, Light up every secret ache, Jesus, be the brightest flame In the darkest parts of me. [Chorus – Big] You are the Light In our darkness, Shining hope Where we feel heartless. No night too deep, No shame too far— Jesus, Light of every heart. [Outro - Spoken] If this season feels heavy, You don’t have to pretend. Just let His light in.
