[INTRO — Scrappy-Dee] Yeah! Scrappy-Dee! Nitty! Different mothers, same brotherhood! Since the first grade! Now everybody get up— We’re ending racism tonight! Let’s dance! [HOOK — Dance / Call & Response] Different colors, different faces, Different cultures, different places, But underneath it all we’re connected, Every human life should be respected! We all bleed red! ❤️ We all got a heart! We all got a soul! We all play a part! Different mothers, but brothers for life, Stand together, put an end to the fight! Black, white, brown—everybody unite! Turn the music up and bring the love tonight! [VERSE 1 — Scrappy-Dee] Me and Nitty met way back in the first grade, Different mothers, but the brotherhood stayed. Years went by but the bond got stronger, When one fell down, the other came longer. Not the same skin, but we share the same blood— Not biologically, but that’s still my blood. Love ain’t measured by the color of your face, It’s measured by the heart and the love that you place. We got different languages, different traditions, Different foods, different styles, different visions, But look underneath the skin and you’ll see, The same human design in you and me. [PRE-HOOK] Two eyes, two ears, two hands, two feet, Heart keeps beating with the same heartbeat. Lungs take oxygen, souls need love, We’re all God’s children underneath the sun above. [HOOK — BIG DANCE BREAK] Different colors, different faces, Different cultures, different places, But underneath it all we’re connected, Every human life should be respected! We all bleed red! We all got a heart! We all got a soul! We all play a part! Different mothers, but brothers for life, Stand together, put an end to the fight! Black, white, brown—everybody unite! Turn the music up and bring the love tonight! [VERSE 2 — Nitty] I’m Nitty stepping in, let me tell you the truth, I learned brotherhood way back in my youth. Scrappy-Dee my brother, that’s family to me, Different mothers, same loyalty. Race shouldn’t tell you who somebody is, Look at the character, look at what they give. We got different stories, but the pain can be shared, When somebody’s hurting, show them you care. Don’t teach the children hate before they know love, Don’t judge somebody by the color they’re from. Teach ’em shake hands, teach ’em stand side by side, Teach ’em everybody deserves dignity and pride. [DANCE BREAK — DJ SCRATCH / CROWD] Left! Right! Everybody move! Black! White! Everybody groove! Brown! Tan! Everybody clap! Different races— But we all got each other’s back! [BRIDGE — Scrappy-Dee & Nitty] Scrappy-Dee: What color is your heart? Crowd: RED! Nitty: What keeps your body breathing? Crowd: LUNGS! Scrappy-Dee: What makes you more than skin? Crowd: SOUL! Nitty: So what are we? Crowd: ONE! [FINAL HOOK — FULL ENERGY] Different colors, different faces, Different cultures, different places, But underneath it all we’re connected, Every human life should be respected! We all bleed red! ❤️ We all got a heart! We all got a soul! We all play a part! Different mothers, but brothers for life, Scrappy-Dee and Nitty standing side by side! No more racism, let the hatred die, Love across the world—let humanity rise! [OUTRO — Scrappy-Dee] Different doesn’t mean divided. Different doesn’t mean less. Different means we’re human. Me and Nitty? Different mothers. Same brotherhood. Now grab somebody’s hand— Turn the music up— And let’s show the world what unity sounds like! ONE WORLD! 🌎 ONE PEOPLE! ONE LOVE! ❤️
