[Verse 1] Sent on a journey with no clear destination and sometimes everything that comes my way is just too much I carry these questions with me Every single day and hold on to what I love. [Pre-Chorus] When the ground shakes, I still stand my ground even when it gets dark. I won’t let myself be swayed I look ahead even when it burns because every little step knows the way [Chorus] I keep moving forward I keep moving forward even when the wind almost breaks me I keep moving forward I keep moving forward because a light burns inside me One step after another through the night and through the wind I keep moving forward I keep moving forward Until a new day begins. [Verse 2] Some days drift by like clouds in the sky and you quickly get distracted from every plan. But I learn from each one and walk out of the valley on my own With renewed courage, I move forward I’m convinced I can do it. [Pre-Chorus] When the ground shakes, I still stand my ground even when it gets dark. I won’t let myself be swayed I look ahead even when it burns because every little step knows the way (Chorus) I keep moving forward I keep moving forward even when the wind almost breaks me I keep moving forward I keep moving forward because a light burns within me One step after another Through the night and through the wind I keep moving forward I keep moving forward Until a new day begins. [Bridge] And when morning catches up with me And everything is burning again I have a light in my heart That knows the way. No safe harbor today But I stay the course through the storm Because hope is the name Of my lighthouse. Chorus] I keep moving forward I keep moving forward even when the wind almost breaks me I keep moving forward I keep moving forward because a light burns inside me One step after another through the night and through the wind I keep moving forward I keep moving forward Until a new day begins.
