A hiccup makes me lose focus A roadblock with no detour. But I don't think it matters That much to me anymore. I'm headed one direction. But the orientation is down. I'd go join the circus But no one laughs at this clown. A million ways to do things A million more to not. I'll make up an excuse And it becomes an afterthought. I'm far behind and forgotten By myself and alone. I'm on the back burner In an abandoned burned down home.
