[Intro – Guitar & Drum Hit] (crunchy riff, slow-burn snare rolls) We messed up the things we had, Laying ‘round and chillin’ bad, Dozen people tried to kill us, Hell, we laughed — that’s how it feels, huh? [Verse 1] Never thought we’d meet again, I knocked that door like a crazy woman, Smoke and silence, broken glass — What I saw was a mess… [Pre-Chorus] All the angels lost their wings, All the sinners learned to sing, Baby, nothing left to bless — What I saw was a mess! [Chorus 1 – Full Band + Choir] Oh — fire in the room tonight, Burn it up, we’re doin’ fine! We don’t pray, we confess — What I saw was a mess! [Verse 2] Empty bottles, dead romance, Dirty halo, second chance, Every lie we half-undressed — What I saw was a mess! [Bridge – Choir backing “Whoa-oh-oh”] (big stadium drums, half-time feel) Whoa-oh-oh, can’t fix the pain, Whoa-oh-oh, we love the flame! Raise your glass to brokenness — What I saw was a mess! [Final Chorus + Outro] Oh — fire in the room tonight! Turn it loud, the end’s in sight! Choir screams, guitars confess — What I saw… was a MESS! 🔥
