Vers 1: Camilla the blue kangaroo, don’t always know what to do. She’s a weird little thing, funny but scared, scared of everything. Camilla’s curiosity is a mystery. No other kangaroo can walk backwards at all, But Camilla has been moonwalking since she was four. In her pouch she’s got a carrot and a gumball. Camilla is kind of clumsy, she stumbles and falls. How she ended up blue, only Camilla knows. Vers 2: The story goes, Camilla was out with her curious nose. She snuck into a paint shop, she stumbled and fell, And guess where she ended up? Vers 3: The little blue kangaroo Rushed out of the shop before the humans got a clue. She ran home as fast as lightning. Her mama welcomed her with big eyes: “What have you been doing?” She shook her head, got the little blue kangaroo ready for her bath. Mama wasn’t angry; she had no wrath. She was used to Camilla’s clumsy ways. She shook her head, knowing there would be more of these days. (It’s Camilla’s way.) Chorus: In a bucket of paint, blue she fell, Camilla, so clumsy, so true. Maybe she stumbles again and becomes Camilla the red. Nobody knows; Camilla always puts on a show. Now Camilla has to tuck in her sweet blue feet. It’s time to sleep.
