Silver birches, rustling with no breeze, A new-born fawn, struggling to his knees, The open meadow, drenched with morning dew, Early morning sunshine, making flowers bloom anew. All of these things have been given to me. All of this life has been put into me. All of this beauty is mine. And yet here alone I sit and bow my head and cry. I’m so lonely, I just need somebody to love. I just want someone to hold… Little sparkling brooklets, splashing down the hill, Yellow forest violets, oh, how sweet they smell. Swallows doing somersaults high up in the skies, Wheeling and turning, their spirit never dies. All of these things have been given to me. All of this life has been put into me. All of this beauty is mine. And yet here alone I sit and bow my head and cry. I’m so lonely, I just need somebody to love. I just want someone to hold…
