You are here now Another day So many things just didn’t go your way Those days are past What lies ahead Are plans the Lord has for you if you just get out of bed And though the sun set on your dreams And things are not as they had seemed A new beginning’s waiting in the dawn So press on! Press on! Get up and step onto the path you’re on Press on! Press on! Joy is waiting in the morning’s dawn So press on! Run to the storm And face your fears Either way you won’t hold back the tears Pull out the stops Give it your all Run life’s race no matter if you fall And know that every time I pray Though doubts and questions cloud your way In Jesus’ Name I’m lifting you beyond So press on! Press on! Get up and step onto the path you’re on Press on! Press on! Joy is waiting in the morning’s dawn So press on! What glittered was Not solid gold You are looking for a hand to hold This world is dark This world is sad I’ve too had my share of pain and I know it hurts so bad But Child of God, it’s Christ our Lord That we must keep our eyes toward So let’s get up forgetting all that’s gone And press on! Press on! Get up and step onto the path you’re on Press on! Press on! Joy is waiting in the morning’s dawn So press on!
