Darkened skies and whispers mold the path we tread, Seventy-two in shadows, with the light of the dead. A world in chains, we walk among the lost, Carrying the flame, defying ghosts. We are the voices in the void, Sent forth unto the dread unknown, Shaking dust from hearts destroyed, Proclaim the kingdom— they shall be shown. No staff, no purse, no bread to bind, Yet clothed in power beyond mortal mind. Among the wolves, our lamb hearts roar, With tongues of flame, we blaze the door. Breathe the breath of prophecies unseen, Earth trembles under the ruined green. We stand at portal ‘twixt doom and grace, Time ingests the final face. Demons bow before our dying breath, Their empire shakes in witness of death. Swords unsheathed from tongues of fire, The scattered rise— hunger of desire. They saw the throne, the ancient fall, Heard the voices beyond the wall. Yet greater joy than sight or sign: Sovereign Name, in flesh and spine. We are the voices in the void, Sent forth unto the dread unknown, Shaking dust from hearts destroyed, Proclaim the kingdom— they shall be shown. We are the voices in the void, Sent forth unto the dread unknown, Shaking dust from hearts destroyed, Proclaim the kingdom— they shall be shown. ===================== Gospel – July 6, 2025 Is 66:10–14c Responsorial Psalm: Ps 66 Gal 6:14–18 Lk 10:1–12, 17–20 =====================
