(soft intro) (verse 1) I turn to you out of my troubles Out of my trials, out of my fears I turn to you out of my heartaches Out of my sickness, out of my tears (verse 2) I turn to you looking for answers Looking for reasons, looking for hope I turn to you seeking your goodness Seeking your mercy, seeking your grace (chorus) And you are there, you are always there Right beside me in the midst of my storms When I turn to you, I can rest assured You will welcome me with open arms (verse 3) I turn to you, finding a refuge Finding a fortress, finding a rest I turn to you, where there is healing Where there is peace and forgiveness, (chorus) And you are there, you are always there Right beside me in the midst of my storms When I turn to you, I can rest assured You will welcome me with open arms (Bridge) You are my strength in the battle. You are my refuge in the storm You are my helper when I’m in trouble. You are my keeper forever more. You are the rock that I can stand on. You are the hope that gives me faith. You are a friend I can depend on. You are the truth, the life, the way. You are my strength in the battle. You are my refuge in the storm You are my helper when I’m in trouble. You are my keeper forever more. You are the rock that I can stand on. You are the hope that gives me faith. You are a friend I can depend on. You are the truth, the life, the way. I know you are there, you are always there Right beside me in the midst of my storms When I turn to you, I can rest assured You will welcome me with open arms (refrain) I will turn to you, Oh Lord I will turn to you, Oh Lord In everything I do I will turn to you You will show me the way. In everything I do I will turn to you You will show me the way.
