[intro] [guitar, harmonica, dulcimer] [ yodel] [verse 1] [lead singer] I'm there, checking and chatting to a customer and all of a sudden someone behind me smacks my rear end! I'm used to people behind me that I don't see coming yanking on my ponytail or something like that.... but never does anyone ... smack my rear! [bridge] [dulcimer] I stopped scanning, and my eyes got huge and I thought of about four or five Wijk weird customers that could possibly be the culprit, and I turned my head around slowly and looked.... And there was nobody there! [bridge] [dulcimer] [verse 1] I was thinking what the heck and then I started to look down, and there was a little blonde haired, cute little giggling, grinning boy, probably about five or six years old ...staring up at me with his hands over his mouth, and he had the biggest sparkle in his eyes, and you could tell he was just having the best time sneaking up on me and give me a good whack. I said well, who are you?? and he ran off towards his parents who were calling for him. [interlude] [dulcimer, harmonica] [verse 2] It turned out to be Benji, whose parents came to Boise about six years earlier without children and I was the first person they talked to when they got off the airplane to get groceries for their new home. I told him how great it was here in Boise and that they couldn't have chosen a better place to live. So then Benji was born, and I saw him grow up from in utero to little butt, smacking boy. [bridge] [dulcimer] [verse 3] After respecting my butt, the parents came up and said oh my gosh, we are mortified and so sorry! They said he likes to do that at home and they know you so he thinks it's a hoot to smack a butt. And I said well at first and I was about to give someone a talking to, but no one was there till I looked down and saw cute little Benji with a grin on his face ! I laughed so hard! I told them he probably found a huge target and decided to give it a smack ! [outro] [slowly] [dulcimer] Oh my gosh, that was the funniest thing that ever happened to me here.
