[VERSE 1] Out in the field Standing alone Ragged old clothes Made of straw and bone Head made of burlap Eyes painted black Moon hits the field Something looks back [PRE-CHORUS] They laugh at the stories They call them lies Till the full moon rises And the scarecrow's eyes... [CHORUS] COME ALIVE! COME ALIVE! RUN FOR YOUR LIFE! THE SCARECROW'S HUNTING UNDER THE MOONLIGHT! THE SCARECROW'S HUNTING AND HE KNOWS WHO'S WRONG! [VERSE 2] Thieves in the shadows Liars in the night People who've hurt someone Better stay inside Rustling corn Footsteps close Something is coming Nobody knows [PRE-CHORUS] You hear that laughter Out in the rows You turn around But nobody's there [CHORUS] COME ALIVE! COME ALIVE! RUN FOR YOUR LIFE! THE SCARECROW'S HUNTING UNDER THE MOONLIGHT! THE SCARECROW'S HUNTING AND HE KNOWS WHO'S WRONG! [BREAKDOWN — GANG VOCALS] WHO'S BEEN BAD? YOU KNOW! WHO'S OUT THERE? YOU KNOW! WHO'S COMING? HE KNOWS! FULL MOON! LET'S GO! [GUITAR SOLO] [VERSE 3] Morning comes The field is chill No footprints found No one ever will Back on the post He's standing tall Just an empty scarecrow Watching it all [FINAL CHORUS] COME ALIVE! COME ALIVE! RUN FOR YOUR LIFE! THE SCARECROW'S HUNTING UNDER THE MOONLIGHT! THE SCARECROW'S HUNTING AND HE KNOWS WHO'S WRONG!
