Ní rugadh mé i gcloch, ach i gcroí na talún. --- [Pre-Intro] (Ancient frame drums... low drone... ravens... wind moving through old oaks...) Before the walls were raised... Before the names were given... Before we learned to fear the wilderness... The forest was already listening. --- [Verse 1] I learned their truth within their walls, I measured my worth by the rules they gave. Every question wore a guilty name, Every doubt was baptized into shame. So I carried prayers like borrowed skin, Trying to silence the wild within. Every answer echoed back the same... Until the forest whispered my name. --- [Pre-Chorus] No choir sang. No heavens split apart. Just roots beneath my feet... And something older than my heart. --- [Chorus] I left my prayers behind those walls, Found my answers where the roots had grown. Every leaf became a page I never knew... The forest knew my voice before the sermons drowned it out. The Green Man smiled through ivy and rain, Not to erase me—but to break my chains. Where every ending feeds the living ground... The forest gave me back the life I'd found. --- [Verse 2] He wore no crown but woven vines, No sacred book—just rings of time. His truth bloomed through ash and seed; Every ending carried living green. He said, "I've watched your kingdoms rise and fall... I've swallowed every empire's wall... I've seen your prophets, kings, and creeds... Yet every spring remembers me." He touched the bark... And I understood... Nothing living ever asked permission to become. --- [Pre-Chorus] No fear to sell. No war to win. Just open sky... And breath within. --- [Bridge | Spoken Tribal Rap] They told us the sacred lived behind walls. But the first cathedral... ...was a forest. The first hymn... ...was birdsong. The first scripture... ...was written in rivers. Every root remembers an empire. Every mountain outlives a kingdom. Every leaf knows how to let go... Without calling it failure. Maybe we were never cast out... Maybe we simply forgot how to listen. --- [Final Chorus] I left my prayers behind those walls, Found my answers where the roots had grown. Every leaf became a page I never knew... The forest knew my voice before the sermons drowned it out. Now every breath belongs to me, Every sunrise feels like home. The Green Man smiled through ivy and rain, As every fear returned to earth again. When every tower falls to vine... When every clock surrenders time... The face beneath the leaves remains... Not asking worship. Not demanding faith. Only whispering... Remember. --- [Outro] (Heartbeat slows... wind through oak leaves... distant raven...) When the last wall falls... The forest never stopped speaking. We only forgot the language. (Softly whispered in Celtic) Is mé an guth faoin gcrann, is mé an fréamh faoin talamh. Ní rugadh mé i gcloch, ach i gcroí na talún. (Wind... leaves... silence.)
