[Verse] He asked who do you say I am? With eyes that shone like morning sun They answered no mere mortal man The Christ the chosen holy one [Chorus] Climb the mountain feel the light Transfigured Lord so pure and bright But know the cost to follow Him A road of love and suff'ring grim [Verse 2] He warned them all to count the cost A path of shadows thorns so sharp To gain the kingdom none be lost Bear your crosses take your part [Bridge] The glitter fades the world is dim But in His light our souls still swim His peace beyond our earthly pain With Him forever we shall reign [Verse 3] Moses Elijah stood so near In voices calm no hint of fear God's chosen ones forever dear Divine statement loud and clear [Chorus] Climb the mountain feel the light Transfigured Lord so pure and bright But know the cost to follow Him A road of love and suff'ring grim
