The Pink Road... (Ohhh...) She travels on a cloud of wonder Mind is racing with fear & doubt Her future, her body asunder Does she cry, scream or shout. She looks ahead, she sees a void, Feet are frozen where they touch, Denial, anger, a little annoyed... Why me, this is too much, too much. Her feet are moving but it doesn't matter She is scared, shaking and numb Family, life plans all could shatter Can anyone say what's to come? Her journey begins, Making a plan, time to think, Seeing more clearly On needles and pins, Taking her to the brink. A warrior's strength and drive Courses through her veins, For the future, her need to survive, Are the instincts that remain. She will not fail, With the support from family & friend, Her faith in God she will prevail As the road starts to end. Prayers, and support have grown Helping to lessen her load, And we are clearly shown, It's the strongest of women who walk The Pink Road.
