[Intro] [Verse 1] Blessed is the one who never walks with the wicked, And will not follow their counsel, Who does not tread on the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of scoffers, but delights with great eagerness In meditating on the law of the Most High. [Chorus] Blessed is the one who never walks with the wicked, And will not follow their counsel, But delights with great eagerness In meditating on the law of Jehovah. [Verse 2] He shall be like a strong tree Planted by the bank of a stream, Who bears his fruit in its season And whose leaves never wither; And all that he does with faithfulness Will prosper and bring forth great fruit. [Chorus 2] Blessed is the one who never walks with the wicked, And will not follow their counsel, But delights with great eagerness In meditating on the law of Jehovah. [Bridge] The destiny of the wicked sinner is quite different, Who is like chaff scattered by the wind. Therefore they shall not stand in the day of judgment, Neither the wicked nor sinners shall endure. The path of the righteous, Jehovah will protect, But the wicked shall go to their ruin. [Chorus 3] Blessed is the one who never walks with the wicked, And will not follow their counsel, But delights with great eagerness In meditating on the law of the Lord. Blessed is the one who never walks with the wicked, And will not follow their counsel, But delights with great eagerness In meditating on the law of the Most High... of the Most High... [Outro / Final] (Solo piano, resonance of the last note and slow fade out)
