אַשְׁרֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל שֶׁבְּכָל עֵת קָשָׁה הַכֹּל נִמְצָא בְּהֲגָנָה מִן הַמָּרוֹת נִסִּים הִתְרוֹמְמוּ בְּתוֹךְ כְּאֵב וְצָרוֹת כְּשֶׁעֵינֵינוּ רוֹאוֹת אֶת הַנִּסִּים הַגְּלוּיִים חֲנוּכָּה נִזְכֶּרֶת בְּתוֹךְ הַמַּעֲרָכָה אֵיךְ הַכֹּל הִתְאַחֵד לְנִצָּחוֹן בָּאֵשׁ בְּעוֹד הַיָּגוֹן מְסֻבָּךְ בָּאֲבָק צָרִיךְ לִשְׂמֹחַ בְּכָל נִסֵּי הַיּוֹם English Lines: Blessed are those who find light amidst sorrow Miracles shine through the darkness of pain As grief and trials cloud our path The hidden miracles give us hope again We recall Hanukkah’s fire and glow Victory from odds that seemed so great Even when sadness shrouds the land It’s the miracles that we should celebrate Hebrew Lines: אַחֲרֵי שָׁנָה שֶׁל עֶצֶב וּמַאֲבָקִים עָמְדוּ הָאוֹרוֹת עַל כָּל חַיֵּינוּ תּוֹקֶף הַמִּלְחָמוֹת הִשְׁאִיר אָבְדָן אֲבָל נִסִּים שׁוּב הִצִּילוּ אֶת עַמֵּנוּ כַּאֲשֶׁר רַק יַד הַשָּׁמַיִם מְלֵאָה חֶסֶד עָלֵינוּ לְהַכִּיר בָּהֶם בִּבְרָכָה וּתְשׁוּעָה לֹא לִשְׁכֹּחַ אֶת הַיָּד הַמַּשְׁגִּיחָה אֵלֶּה הַמִּזְמוֹרִים לִהְיוֹת לְשִׂמְחָה English Lines: After a year of loss and strife The lights still guide our way through life Though battles have left their painful sting It’s the miracles that lift our wings For every tear, there is a grace From the hand of Heaven, shining with praise We must acknowledge God’s embrace For these are the songs that our hearts raise Hebrew Lines: נִסִּים נִמְשָׁכִים בְּתוֹךְ הַקְּרָבוֹת יָדוֹ שֶׁל הַשָּׁמַיִם שׁוֹמֶרֶת עַל כָּל חַיֵּינוּ הָרוֹקֶטִים נָפְלוּ אֲבָל עָמַדְנוּ בְּחַיִּים כָּל פְּצָצָה נִשְׁמְרָה מִבְּלִי לִפְגֹּעַ כָּל מִנְחָה וְכָל תְּפִלָּה נִתְקַבְּלוּ בְּאָשֶׁר הַחַיָּלִים בְּעוֹז וְאֱמוּנָה עָמְדוּ אֵין עוֹד שֵׁפֶל בְּמַעֲשֵׂינוּ כָּל זֶה בִּלְתִּי שִׁכְחָה English Lines: Miracles continue in every battle fought His hand has guarded every life The rockets fall but we stand tall Every threat is turned aside Our soldiers brave, with strength they pray With faith so deep, they hold the light We celebrate the deeds each day For His guidance shines so bright Hebrew Lines: הַיָּד הַגְּדוֹלָה שֶׁל אֲדוֹן עוֹלָם מַנְהִיגָה אֶת כָּל עַמֵּנוּ בְּחוֹסֶן הַשָּׁנָה הַחֲדָשָׁה תָּבוֹא עִם נִסִּים גְּדוֹלִים אֱמֶת וָצֶדֶק בַּכֹּל יִתְגַּלּוּ לְפָנִים הַכֹּל יַבִּיט בְּהַשְׁגָּחַת אֵל עֶלְיוֹן הַשָּׁנָה תֵּחָשֵׂף הָאֱמוּנָה תְּפוּצָה וּתְשׁוּעָה בְּכָל הָעוֹלָם בָּרוּךְ הָאוֹר הַשּׁוֹפֵךְ עַל עַמֵּנוּ English Lines: A mighty hand guides all we do The new year brings great miracles too Truth and justice will reveal their grace And faith will spread throughout this place God’s hand will lead us high above With blessings of mercy and endless love This year will bring faith to light And the world will witness His might
